Hi. I'm Andrew Carroll.

I'm a CPA and consultant based in Orange County, California. I've been advising people on their financial lives for over ten years. I have helped in more places and ways that I can count: taxes, investments, insurance, business strategy, operations, mergers and acquisitions, and accounting.

My credentials:

I formerly spent about ten years as the general manager of a public accounting and financial planning firm with around 24 employees.

I no longer offer securities or insurance products for sale—but have worked in that market in the past. Currently I advise on these activities on a consulting basis only.

I have several sub specialties granted by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants):

  • PFS: Personal Financial Specialist. As a CPA I specialize in personal finances—this comes in handy for my Freelancers & Solopreneurs packages.
  • CGMA: Charted Global Management Account. Management accounting is about understanding how we use numbers to make decisions. This is particularly useful for the business half of the equation for freelancers.
